This Data Retention Policy describes how long Aliff Solutions FZC retains different categories of data and the methods used for deletion. This policy supplements our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.
Retention periods are measured from the date of account termination or contract expiry unless otherwise specified. During the active service period, all data categories are retained as necessary to provide the platform and services.

Deletion Methods
- Hard delete: Data is permanently removed from all primary databases and cannot be recovered. Backups containing the data are overwritten within the normal backup rotation cycle (maximum 30 days).
- Retained, access restricted: Data is preserved to comply with legal or regulatory obligations (e.g., tax law) but access is restricted to authorized personnel only. This data is not used for any purpose other than legal compliance and is protected by all security measures described in our DPA.
- Retained: Data is preserved for operational, security, or compliance purposes with standard access controls in place.
Additional Details
Early deletion requests: Clients may request early deletion of their data at any time through our contact page. We will process deletion requests within thirty (30) days, subject to legal retention requirements.
Data export: Prior to deletion, clients may request a full export of their data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format (JSON or CSV). Export requests must be made within thirty (30) days of account termination.
AI training data: Data used for AI model training is anonymized and aggregated before use, as described in our AI Terms of Service. Anonymized data that has been incorporated into model training cannot be retroactively attributed or deleted, as it no longer constitutes Personal Data.
Backup retention: Database backups are maintained on a rolling schedule. Deleted data may persist in backups for up to thirty (30) days before being overwritten.
